[JUST IN] Land Disputes: Hoodlums Attack Isheri-Oke Palace

Following an early morning protest by residents of Isheri Oke over a demand notice for settlement, scores of hoodlums have attacked the palace.

The hoodlums in large numbers pelted the palace with stones and bottles as the Oba-elect, Prince Jamiu Lateef Odunsi had to scamper into safety.

In the course of the attack, missiles hit some palace staff who sustained various degrees of injuries.

Recall that homeowners and residents of Isheri-Oke woke up Tuesday to read Demand/Notice of occupation of their property served by the Olofin Chieftaincy family.

Residents of the area expressed fear of the possible takeover of their property by Olofin’s palace.
