Justin Baldoni hits back at Isabela Ferrer’s harassment allegations during Blake Lively legal battle

Justin Baldoni denied claims that he “harassed” his “It Ends With Us” co-star Isabela Ferrer with subpoena attempts in his ongoing Blake Lively legal battle.

According to court documents filed Monday and obtained by Page Six, the “Jane the Virgin” alum’s legal team claimed they issued a subpoena for Ferrer to obtain “documents that she either neglected to produce or were not requested” by Lively’s team.

Baldoni’s legal team said in the docs that they reached out to the 24-year-old actress’s attorneys “twice” to communicate regarding the subpoena but were allegedly “ignored.”

The “Five Feet Apart” director’s lawyers said they did not harass Ferrer because they weren’t the first to issue her a summons — Lively, 37, was.

“Ms. Lively should not be permitted to obtain discovery from Ms. Ferrer, while Ms. Ferrer and her counsel frustrate all effort by the Wayfarer Parties to obtain the discovery critical to the preparation of their defense,” the docs read.

“Given the circumstances, the Wayfarer Parties are willing to stipulate that none of the parties will use any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner in this action.”

The lawyers concluded the filing by asking Judge Lewis J. Liman to “grant” their request to serve Ferrer “via alternative means.”

Page Six has reached out to Ferrer’s attorney for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Lawyers for Ferrer — who played the younger version of Lively’s character, Lily Bloom, in the 2024 film “It Ends With Us” — filed a rebuttal to Baldoni’s Aug. 12 motion claiming she has been unresponsive to his subpoena.

In docs obtained by People, the “Evil” actress alleged Baldoni filed the motion “for improper purposes and with the aim of harassing” her.

“Baldoni made no effort to tailor the subpoena towards the production of new or different materials, demonstrating that the real aim of the Baldoni Subpoena, as well as the pending Motion, is to harass Ms. Ferrer,” the filing said.

Ferrer and her legal team also claimed Baldoni’s subpoena and motion “are transparent efforts to exert pressure on Ms. Ferrer.”

The actress’s lawyers asked the court to deny Baldoni’s motion and to impose sanctions on him.
