Ahead of the EP release, the beauty has dropped a Kiswahili-inspired single titled Sawa Sawa. The single was released on Thursday, October 24.
Who produced Lyzaira’s Sawa Sawa? TUKO.co.ke has since established that the song was produced by renowned Kenyan producer Wuod Omollo and co-written alongside Watendawili (Onyach Pala and Ywaya Tajiri).
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Lyzaira expressed excitement about working with the Wuod Omollo and the team.
“I love this project (Sawa Swa). The team led by Wuod Omollo did an excellent job. My appreciation to him (Wuod Omollo), Onyach Pala and Ywaya Tajiri of Watendawili. I couldn’t ask for a more talented team for Sawa Sawa,” she said. What’s the motivation behind Sawa Sawa? According to Lyzaria, the Pan-African collaboration (Sawa Sawa) is an Afro-pop anthem that blends Cape Verdean flair, Kiswahili warmth, and global pop energy.
The track was written during her time in Kenya earlier this year. It fuses Swahili, Creole, and English in a seamless blend of cultures that embodies Lyzaira’s signature style, which is made up of sultry vocals, breezy rhythm, and confident storytelling.

Lyzaira’s background, rise to fame The beautiful artiste is a global figure. She was born in the Netherlands and has roots in the vibrant islands of Cape Verde.
Lyzaira is an Afro-pop artiste and her music reflects both her European upbringing and her African heritage.
Growing up in Rotterdam with Cape Verdean roots, Lyzaira’s earliest exposure to music was tied to her cultural heritage.
She faced personal tragedies in her teens, which temporarily made her to step away from her musical path.
