KENYA: Alejandro Garnacho shares his thoughts after joining Chelsea from Man United

Alejandro Garnacho has spoken for the first time after leaving Manchester United to join their Premier League rivals, Chelsea.

The Argentine has been searching for a club, and the two teams were locked in weeks of negotiations before finally agreeing on a fee.

When will Garnacho make Chelsea debut? The saga is now over, and he will look to make his debut after the upcoming international break. Interestingly, Chelsea will visit Old Trafford on September 20th to face Manchester United.

Therefore, Garnacho could suit up for the Blues and play at his former home, where the reaction is likely to be hostile due to the manner in which he left the club.

What did Alejandro Garnacho say? The 21-year-old has signed a seven-year contract, which includes a 10 per cent sell-on clause for the Red Devils.

“It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy,” he said via Chelsea’s website. Garnacho joined Man United in 2020 as a 16-year-old and was part of their youth team that won the 2022 FA Youth Cup. He played 93 Premier League matches at Man United and scored 16 goals.
