Manchester United registered their first win of the season by beating newly promoted side Burnley 3-2.
The Red Devils made a strong start and scored the opening goal, but Scott Parker’s side equalised. Bryan Mbeumo’s goal and a late Bruno Fernandes penalty earned them a vital win.
When Fernandes was taking his penalty, Ruben Amorim didn’t look, just like in midweek when he looked away against Grimsby. He explained why he cannot watch penalties.
“I don’t like watching penalties,” he said in his press conference. Asked why, he said, “I don’t like to see penalties but I like to see the image of the fans.” “But I was just thinking that what has to be has to be, and we understand sometimes one moment can change a lot of things. “But in that moment I was just thinking it’s fair to win this game. I was not expecting Bruno to miss two penalties in a row.” More to follow
