Before his death, he had requested to be buried within 72 hours after his demise, next to his mother, Mary Juma Odinga.
When will Raila be buried? Mary was one of the wives of Raila’s father, who was also Kenya’s first prime minister, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
Raila will be buried at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi on Sunday, October 19, fulfilling his wish of being laid to rest within hours after his death.
The clip captured Jaramogi’s magnificent mausoleum, showing its interior design and beauty.
On one of the walls were wise words from Jaramogi that read: “Freedom has a price.”
Jaramogi’s black and white photo There was only one photo in the mausoleum, a black-and-white landscape picture hanging on the wall.
At the center of the building stood a lion statue placed atop the large grave.
The room was filled with RGB lights, which were strategically positioned around the space, giving it a fancy and beautiful look.
It was also sparkling clean, owing to the materials used in its construction, which made cleaning easier.
How many chambers does Jaramogi’s mausoleum have? The mausoleum had two sections: the inner chamber, where the grave is located, and the outer chamber.
The outer chamber was quite spacious, serving as the entryway into the inner chamber.
Jaramogi’s mausoleum surroundings also looked clean and beautiful, with several flowers enhancing its elegance.
The structural design was nothing short of a masterpiece, as seen in the video.
Kenyans react to Jaramogi’s mausoleum The footage stirred reactions online as Kenyans flooded the comment section to share their thoughts ahead of Raila’s burial.
