Kit Harington will likely be in charge of future reunions with his Game of Thrones sister Sophie Turner.
The actors star in Natasha Kermani’s new gothic horror movie, The Dreadful; however, they play love interests in the film, which Harington described as “a bit weird.” Prior to this, they played half-siblings Jon Snow and Sansa Stark on eight seasons of the HBO Emmy-winning series.
“She was [the] one that sent that movie to me and somehow didn’t see what I saw in it,” Harington recently told E! News. “I was like, ‘These guys, these are lovers, right?’ I felt very odd about that.”
He added, “It was slightly embarrassing, having to get on an apple box to kiss her because she’s about a foot taller than me. But other than that, my dignity was pretty intact.”
Despite the awkwardness while filming romantic scenes in the film, Harington admitted it was still nice to reunite with Turner after Game of Thrones wrapped in 2019.
“It was a good chance to be with her again and work together,” the Industry actor said. “What was lovely is that we got on set together and our friendship completely ignited again. It felt like being with family. It really did.”
The Dreadful follows Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law, Morwen (Marcia Gay Harden), who live a solitary, harsh life on the outskirts of society. But when a man, played by Harington, from their past returns, he will set off a sequence of horrifying events that will change Anne’s life forever.
