Kogi APC Guber Primaries: Fanwo Berates Adeyemi Over Yahaya Bello Comments
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, has berated Senator Smart Adeyemi for his comments in the media where he described Governor Yahaya Bello as a tyrant.
The Commissioner on Tuesday, during an interview on AriseTV, alleged that Adeyemi had been a serial betrayer.
Recall that Adeyemi had alleged that the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Primary conducted on Friday was rigged in favour of Bello’s anointed candidate, Ahmed Usman Ododo, a former Auditor-General of the state.
But Fanwo, in reaction to the allegation by Adeyemi, said the primary was free and fair.
“The primary is the best in the state’s history; you could see the enthusiasm of the party members who participated in the process.
“Today, that man [Yahaya Bello] who supported him[Adeyemi] to become a senator, despite much advice from people outside and within the government that he is going to betray him as a serial betrayal, Bello went ahead and supported him,” he stated.
