Lady rejects man who sponsored her education, gets pregnant for another man

A young lady has turned down a marriage proposal from her boyfriend who had supported her for many years and even sponsored her education.

In a viral video on social media, the man was seen proposing to her on her sign-out day after graduation.

He revealed that he had sponsored her schooling from her first year until graduation, describing her as the desire of his heart.

The man had planned a surprise engagement on campus. When he arrived, he went straight to her, knelt down and proposed, while other students gathered, cheering and shouting, “Say yes! Say yes!”

The lady looked confused for a few seconds before asking him to stand up, saying she could not accept the ring.

Reactions to the video
Shakespeare wrote: “My guy spent years being a walking ATM and unpaid Uber for her education, only to kneel down on her sign-out day with a ring… and she hit him with the ‘No, thanks, I’m pregnant for another man.’

“Bro, even the Bible warned you the snake finessed Eve in the garden, so who are you to think you could outsmart a woman with your tuition money and blind loyalty? 😂

“You basically sponsored another man’s child and got rejected at graduation like a side quest character.

“She used your support as school fees, transport, and emotional WiFi, then gave the password to somebody else. You weren’t her man you were her scholarship. 📚💔”

Mazi Uche wrote: “So people still sponsor women to go to school with the intention of marrying them? Marry her, give her belle before she enter school. As she born, give her another one. She go carry three pregnancy for four years course.”

Honormeh wrote: “Dear young men, take good care of yourselves. It is not your responsibility to sponsor the education of a girl you haven’t married, you are not her parent.

“If she can’t afford school, let her find her own path. Allow women to build something for themselves so they can truly value and appreciate any man’s support in the future.”

Tirquiose wrote: “Painful as it is, this is why support should never be confused with ownership. Invest in people out of love, not as a down payment on loyalty. Hard lesson, but it saves hearts.”
