Lebron James Gives Update on His Future with La Lakers
The future of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, Lebron James does not look to be cast in stone following his team’s exit from the NBA Playoffs.
He gave a cryptic answer when asked about his NBA future following the Lakers’ season-ending loss to the Denver Nuggets on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 in Los Angeles.

James scored 40 points as the Lakers dropped Game 4 to the Nuggets. He also had 10 rebounds and nine assists after the highest-scoring postseason half of his career.
He is under contract for next season at $ 46.7 million and has a player option for the 2024-25 season at $50.4m. There are rumors that he wants to be alongside his eldest son on the court who will be eligible for the draft in 2024.
