Liverpool ended their four-game winless run in emphatic fashion on Monday night by beating Leeds 6-1 at Elland Road.

The Reds took advantage of a capitulation from the hosts who crumbled at home for the second time in just over a week.

Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota scored braces while Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez also found the back of the net.

The win for Jurgen Klopp’s side moves them to within three points of the top six as they look to end the season positively.

But for Leeds, their goal difference takes a huge hit and they remain only two points above the relegation zone.
