Mr Eazi says music alone couldn’t have funded his wedding to Temi Otedola

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, has revealed that his wedding to actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, was far beyond what his music earnings alone could cover.

The Leg Over hitmaker made this known while responding to an X user who suggested that his newly released single, Cassanova, was an attempt to recoup wedding expenses. “U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? lol,” Mr Eazi replied.

In response, the singer admitted that while he had major hits during that period, it was also his most financially difficult time in nearly a decade.

“You got a point tho, but 2017-18 is the brokest I’ve been in the last 9 years! But all the music I put out then enter like mad sha, I’m really thankful,” he wrote.

— Don Eazi (@mreazi) August 22, 2025 Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola recently tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland, two years after their engagement in London in April 2022. The couple first met through Temi’s elder sister, DJ Cuppy , who was a close friend of the singer.
