Investors gained N2.4 trillion at the close of trading last week.

This followed the rise in the equity capitalisation to N93.7 trillion during the period.

Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) appreciated by 2.45% to close the week at 147,040.08 from 143,520.53 points recorded the previous week.

The market performance was aided by strong showing from stocks like NCR (Nigeria) Plc, UAC Nigeria and Guinness Nigeria Plc.

The trio performed creditably to secure their places amongst the top 10 stocks last week and positioned themselves as stocks to watch in the new week.
