Obituary: Imo Labour Party governorship Aspirant, Anumudu is dead

OWERRI – Tragedy hit the Labour Party chapter in Imo State early Saturday (today) as Chief Humphrey Anumudu, an aspirant for party’s ticket in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State has been found dead.

Chief Anumudu, a native of Mbieri, Imo state, was reportedly found dead in his house. The cause of death is unknown but a source told Sundiata Post it might be prostrate related.

Sundiata Post recalls late politician had paid N25 million for Labour Party’s governorship form for the governorship contest.

Anumudu, a lawyer, was Chief Executive Officer of Globe Motors.

He had contested for the governorship election in the past under the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
