“We are beginning to see the result of our deliberate investment in training and modernizing the security framework of our state,” he added.
He expressed appreciation to citizens who have donated vehicles and resources to support security efforts, describing their involvement as a welcome demonstration of civic responsibility.
“It is heartwarming to see more citizens rise to this occasion,” he said.
The Governor also acknowledged the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying, “I also want to appreciate Mr. President for being very wonderful to us in Kogi State. We in Kogi State appreciate him and continue to show gratitude.”
Ododo commended security agencies for maintaining synergy under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, noting that their cooperation has contributed to improved security outcomes in the state.
“I appreciate all the security agencies… they are working together in synergy, that is why you can see us moving well,” he stated.
The distributed fleet includes 12 refurbished vehicles, 10 vehicles donated by individuals, and 27 motorcycles. The Governor urged recipients to deploy the assets for the purpose they were provided.
“Let it be used for the purpose it was created for,” he cautioned.

Umar called on government institutions, corporate bodies, and individuals to contribute to the Trust Fund, stressing that collective effort is crucial for long-term security.
