Ondo State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of Isah Ibrahim, a commercial motorcyclist whose body was discovered in a well at Ore Stadium, Odigbo Local Government Area.
According to reports, Ibrahim was reported missing on August 17 before his remains were found on Thursday, as confirmed by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo State, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident to NAN, stating that a thorough probe is underway.

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adebowale Razaq, has directed a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances of Ibrahim’s death and ensure justice is served.
Ayanlade appealed for calm, assuring the public that the police are committed to apprehending those responsible for what he described as a “heinous crime.”
Sources revealed that after Ibrahim went missing, his colleagues searched extensively in Ore before locating his body in the well. A fellow motorcyclist, who chose to remain anonymous, noted that Ibrahim’s Bajaj motorcycle has also been missing since his disappearance, fueling suspicions of foul play.
The motorcyclist suggested that Ibrahim’s death could be linked to a rising wave of motorcycle thefts in the area.
“We call on the police and security agencies to track down these criminals, arrest them, and address the growing insecurity in Ore, as our safety is at risk,” he said. (NAN)
