Osimhen fires Galatasaray into UCL last 16 as Real Madrid, PSG also advance

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen was on target for Galatasaray as they overcame a fightback by Juventus to secure a place in the Champions League round of 16.

Having led 5-2 from the first leg in Turkey, Galatasaray fell 3-0 behind after 90 minutes in Turin, leaving them level with their hosts.

The difference came in extra time when Osimhen fired in a fine finish to hand back the lead to Galatasaray.

Juve kept pushing for yet another aggregate equaliser but it was Yilmaz who netted again for Galatasaray to make it 7-5 in their favour. They then held on to win against 10-man Juve.

Galatasaray get through an epic tie and will meet Premier League opposition in the shape of either Liverpool or Tottenham in the last 16.
