PDP sets up Caretaker Committee in Cross River

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has set up Caretaker Committee in Cross River State.

This is contained in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the Committee is charged with the responsibility of running the affairs of the Party in Cross River State, as stipulated in Section 21(2)(a-b) of the Party’s Constitution, for a period not exceeding 3-months or until such time as a new Executive shall be elected.

The committee has Bassey Eko Ewa as Chairman and Bassey Joseph Adim as Secretary as well as  Emmanuel Ekpe as Administrative Secretary.

Other members of the committee are Joe Ekpe Edet, Udie Mike, Lynne Bassey, Etim Okon, Ankot Cohbom, Ofsna Raphael Odo, Onun Inyang Unoh and Ebaye Akunjom.

Others include Godswill Obindim, Edem Ekong, Raymond Abo,  Moses Bisuakefe, Agabi Dominic Oko, Walter Nandi Esom, Ekpo Asuquo and Victor Takon.
