Police arrests three men for armed robbery in Ogun

Ahmed Isiaka, Sunday Ajibola, and Jimoh Wahab were identified as the suspects.

The suspects were apprehended after a distress call was received at Ewekoro division that a 4-man robbery gang had invaded Apomu Community in Ewekoro Local Government Area, dispossessing residents of their belongings, according to Ogun State police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi.

CSP Jacob Olayemi, the DPO of Ewekoro division, was said to have quickly mobilized his patrol team to the scene after receiving the distress call.

When they saw the cops, the hoodlums fled, according to Oyeyemi, but they were pursued and three of them were apprehended with the help of residents.

Oyeyemi listed the items recovered from the suspects as follows: one locally manufactured double-barreled pistol, five live cartridges, one expended cartridge, one Bajaj motorcycle (registration number TTN 975 VU), one TVS motorcycle (registration number JBD 353 W), and some criminal charms.
