The Presidency has terminated the appointment of Mr. Fegho John Umunubo as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President), warning that he no longer has the authority to act or speak on behalf of the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
In a strongly worded statement on Monday, the Director of Information and Public Relations, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, cautioned individuals and organisations against engaging with Umunubo under any pretext of representing the Presidency, stressing that such dealings would be at their own peril.
The statement declared that Umunubo no longer holds any mandate, authority, or official capacity to speak, act, or transact on behalf of the administration of President Tinubu.
It said any individual or organisation dealing with him under the guise of representing this administration does so entirely at their own risk.
The Presidency further advised stakeholders in the digital and creative economy, both in Nigeria and abroad, to take due notice of the development and conduct themselves accordingly.
