Spanish giants Real Madrid have faltered in their race for the title this season after they fell to a stunning 2-1 defeat to Osasuna in a La Liga clash on Saturday.
With the defeat, Real handed Barcelona the initiative in the league race, as the rivals could climb top on Sunday if they win their game in hand.
Vinicius Junior had levelled for Alvaro Arbeloa’s side in the 72nd minute after a first-half Ante Budimir penalty had put the hosts ahead.

But a late Raul Garcia strike condemned Arbeloa to a first league defeat in six games as manager.
It was Osasuna’s first league victory against Real since 2011, and it moves the Pamplona club up to ninth in the table.
Madrid remain two points clear of Barcelona having played one game more. Barcelona can retake top spot with victory over Levante on Sunday.
