Rivers Restoration Movement, Others Felicitate Wike On 58th Birthday

PORT HARCOURT – The Rivers Restoration Movement (RRM), alongside its 32 affiliate groups across the 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State, has congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, on his 58th birthday.

In a statement jointly signed by its Director-General, Hon. Johnson Georgewill, and Secretary, Mrs Sarima Akpata, on behalf of the leadership and affiliate groups, the movement described Wike as a dominant figure in Rivers State politics whose contributions to governance and infrastructure development remain significant.

The statement noted that the former Governor of Rivers State has consistently distinguished himself in public service, from his tenure as Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area to his eight years as Governor, and now as Minister of the FCT under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The group praised Wike’s resilient leadership style and commitment to delivering tangible democratic dividends, noting that his contributions to governance and national development are widely acknowledged, even by political opponents.

RRM further commended the minister’s strength of character and steadfastness in the face of political challenges, describing him as a builder of leaders and a consistent force in Nigeria’s political landscape.

The movement prayed for continued good health, wisdom, strength, and greater leadership impact as the FCT Minister marked another year.
