Russia is set to commence human trials of a revolutionary cancer vaccine.
The vaccine is developed by the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, known for the Sputnik COVID-19 vaccines.
According to reports, preclinical trials have reportedly shown that the vaccine can suppress tumor growth and prevent metastasis.
The vaccine is tailored to individual patients using AI to analyze tumor genetics.
The human clinical trials for a melanoma-specific vaccine are scheduled for late 2025 at the Hertsen Research Institute and the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center in Moscow .
