Security forces in Kano State have initiated a manhunt and rescue mission following the abduction of four individuals by armed bandits in Karaye Local Government Area.

According to security sources cited by counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the attack took place around 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, when approximately eight gunmen wielding AK-47 rifles stormed Adama village.

The assailants targeted the family of Alhaji Boyi Adama, kidnapping four members: Aliyu Bello, Sani Bello, Razika Aliyu Bello, and Shu’aibu Salisu.A tip-off from a local resident prompted the rapid deployment of Joint Task Force teams to the area.

However, the bandits had already fled before security personnel arrived.Investigators recovered an empty 7.62mm ammunition casing at the scene.

Operations continue to locate and safely rescue the victims while pursuing the perpetrators.

Authorities have reassured the public of heightened efforts to apprehend the suspects and restore security in the region.
