During an interview on Arise TV, Daniel Bwala, a spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign, expressed confidence that the PDP candidate would emerge victorious at the tribunal.
Bwala predicted that Bola Tinubu, the President-elect, would be sworn in on May 29 but would only remain in office for six to seven months before being removed.
He went on to say that Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, would then take over as President.
Bwala also addressed accusations of electoral malpractice against the PDP, stating that the party has apologized for its mistakes while the APC has not.
The pre-hearing of the petition by the PDP and Atiku Abubakar is set to continue on Thursday, May 18.
