During the interview, KiD X expressed that he would love to tap into broadcasting, either radio or TV and that prompted DJ Speedsta to ask where that would leave KiD X as a rapper. In response, KiD X said that he would tap into both spaces, being a broadcaster and an artist, as it will allow innovation and new ideas in the media space.
“I think it allows for innovation, you know. Imagine a show where the artist is the engineer and he’s broadcasting the show from the engineer’s desk. Similar to how we see some DJs who wanna spin the record and then grab the mic. So yeah, I’m looking at something like that,” he said.
The Father of Zen hitmaker clarified that, while he’s exploring the media space as a sound engineer, it won’t derail his music career — he also confirmed his album is nearly complete. “But from an artist standpoint, the album is like 95 per cent done, just tying up features for now and then as soon as it’s ready, I’m letting it loose,” he added.
The confirmation that KiD X has completed formal training in sound engineering reframes the remark: this isn’t idle experimentation but a deliberate expansion of his craft.
