South African singer-songwriter Tasha Hendrixx announced on social media today that she will take a year away from the public eye to refocus on personal growth and creative direction, and that she plans to release her third studio album in 2027.

Tasha wrote: “Recentering myself on what truly counts. Breaking free from the need for validation. I’ll leave a lasting legacy that will outlive me. I’m done with the world’s constant reminders of my worth. I know I’m GREAT. When I return, my art will speak for me.
“I’m looking forward to a year of growth, away from the noise and misguided beliefs about self-worth. Your gift is enough. Don’t let this world lie to you about who you are and who you’re supposed to be. Even if one person rocks with me, I’ll be satisfied. The Holy Spirit is my guide.”
In a Facebook post she added, “My 3rd album will be released in 2027. God willingly. First time I’m skipping a year since 2019.”
