Student assaults teacher for giving him 18 out of 20 on test

A 17-year-old student at a private school in Uthai Thani, Thailand, assaulted his math teacher after receiving 18 out of 20 on a mid-term exam.

CCTV footage of the incident, which quickly went viral, shows the student repeatedly slapping, punching, and kicking his female teacher in front of the class.

The student had approached the teacher to question why he had not received a perfect score.

The teacher explained that although his answers were correct, he had not shown the required working steps.

She also suggested he verify the grading with other teachers. After consulting them, the student returned to demand an increased score.

When the teacher refused, he became agitated, kicked a desk, and briefly left the classroom.

Moments later, the student returned and demanded an apology. Upon refusal, he launched a violent assault in front of over 20 classmates.

The attack left the teacher with a bruised eye, swelling on her head, and inflamed ribs. She received medical treatment and has filed a police report.

The student has been suspended and has requested to leave the school.
