Super Eagles to face Venezuela, Colombia in US friendlies

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles will face Venezuela and Colombia in international friendlies scheduled for November 2025 in the United States.

The Eagles will take on Venezuela at the Shell Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Friday, 14 November, with the match kicking off at 8pm local time (1am Nigerian time).

Clash with Colombia in New York
Four days later, Eric Chelle’s men will battle Colombia at Citi Field Stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York.

That encounter is billed for Tuesday, 18 November, and will kick off at 1am Nigerian time as well.

Preparation for AFCON
The two fixtures are part of Nigeria’s build-up to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, which begins Sunday, 21 Dec 2025 – Sunday, 18 Jan 2026.
