The Traitors fans have praised producers for putting the show’s ‘iconic trio’ together at breakfast following the latest banishment.
During Wednesday’s episode of the show viewers watched as Harriet declared she was ‘coming’ for Rachel, believing she was a Traitor.
Following her shock exit after her fellow Faithfuls failed to side with her at the roundtable, the remaining contestants in the castle woke for breakfast.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed how producers had placed Rachel and Stephen – who are the Traitors – at the breakfast table first with Matt.
Matt had stunned viewers last week when he asked Rachel and Stephen who they were planning on murdering – and offered them a deal when they said Jessie.
He said: ‘I suspect Claudia will offer you the opportunity to seduce the next time you meet. I want you to turn that down and murder Jessie. And then the next time you seduce, you can seduce me. So my question is, do we have a deal?’
The question was left on a cliff hanger, but as Wednesday’s episode began the Traitors discussed recruiting him and then throwing him under the bus, before replied back to Matty: ‘You have a deal.’
Matt seemed delighted to read the note, saying: ‘I’ve wanted to be a Traitor since the beginning. Keep my cloak warm.’
As Thursday’s episode kicked off, fans took to social media as they watched Matt sat with Rachel and Stephen, completely oblivious they were the Traitors.
One fan said: ‘Well done to the producers putting Stephen, Rachel and Matty at breakfast first’;
‘Matty, Rachel and Stephen at breakfast together hahaha’; ‘Matty at the breakfast table sat next to the traitors realising he is not recruited’;
‘Obsessed with production sending this trio into breakfast together first’; ‘Sending the three of them in together for breakfast is messy from the producers, I love it!’
Meanwhile, Harriet Tyce left fans in hysterics over her reaction to finding out Rachel is a Traitor following her banishment.
Just like every banished contestant, Harriet was finally told the identities of the Traitors – and her reaction did not disappoint fans.
Opening each letter one-by-one, she was visibly surprised to discover Stephen was one of the hopefuls murdering at night.
But when it came Rachel, as she as she read the mother-of-three’s name, Harriet burst out laughing loudly, falling back in her chair.
‘It’s Rachel, it’s Rachel! Oh,’ she exclaimed before erupting into laughter once more.
Composing herself, she added: ‘Sorry, forgive me. It’s just really nice to be right.’
Fans flooded social media with comments in praise of Harriet and her ‘evil laugh’.
