Thiago Silva’s wife posed for photos with fans outside of Stamford Bridge as she documented her Champions League night.

Belle Silva, a vocal supporter of her husband on social media, made a difficult trip to the ground by car, even though Thiago is still injured.

And joined in with chants

They were both rewarded, though, with Chelsea picking up a 2-0 win through Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz, progressing to the quarter-finals 2-1 on aggregate.

Silva, 38, is expected to be out until the end of March with a knee problem picked up against Tottenham, but that hasn’t stopped him supporting his teammates against Borussia Dortmund.

Videoing herself in a car on the motorway heading to the game, Belle was being driven by Thiago, with their two sons accompanying them before arriving in London.

After dropping Thiago and their car off at the team hotel, Belle and her sons then made the walk to Stamford Bridge, accompanied by some loving Blues fans.

The family joined in with ‘Chelsea, Chelsea’ chants and then the fans’ song for their Brazilian defender.

When some fans recognised the family, chants of ‘Thiago Silva, he came from PSG, to win the Champions League’ could be heard.

Belle then posed for photos with supporters before finally making it to the stadium for the delayed kick-off against Dortmund.

Making it up to one of the directors’ boxes, Thiago was then awaiting the family to watch a game that could define the Blues’ season, and manager Graham Potter’s future.

There was some good news though, with Thiago appearing to be well on the road to recovery, without any obvious protection on his injured knee or crutches needed.

And he was delighted with the result, while those fans will hope to see him back soon.
