Suspected hoodlums have reportedly stabbed one Attahiru Umar Adagba, a commercial motorcyclist, and escaped with his bike at Lambata in the Kwali Area Council of the FCT.
Abuja Metro had previously reported that cases of motorcycle snatching by hoodlums have continued to worsen, especially in Dabi, Bako, Piri, Yangoji, and Kilankwa, among other villages within the council.
The council chairman, Danladi Chiya, had, early last month, during a security meeting, ordered security operatives to crack down on motorcycle snatchers across the council.

Adagba, while narrating the incident to our reporter from his hospital bed in Kwali on Saturday, said the attack happened on Thursday.
Hoodlums attack German in Abuja Zamfara accident: Mother found dead holding child He explained that he had picked up a passenger from the Kwali market junction on his way to Lambata. When they reached Kamu junction, the passenger hit him with a hard object on the head.
“The man asked me to carry him to Lambata, not knowing he was targeting to snatch my bike, until we got to Kamu junction along a bad route when the man stabbed me with a hard object on my head,” he said.
He added, “The next thing I can remember was discovering myself at the hospital in Kwali, after some hours when I regained consciousness.”
The victim, a native of Adagba community in the Abaji Area Council, said he had been in the commercial motorcycle business for almost two years in Kwali until Thursday, when he was attacked by a hoodlum.
A police source at the Kwali division, who preferred to remain anonymous, also confirmed the incident, stating that the police are investigating.
