Toke Makinwa responds to fan who thinks her daughter’s father is a Muslim over her name

Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has shut down reports that her baby daddy is a Muslim.

It was reported in August that the former OAP had welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Yakira Eliana at 40.

Three days ago, Toke had given a tour of her daughter’s pink-themed nursery room.

In her comment section, a fan expressed belief that her daughter’s father is a Muslim because of her name, Yakira.

“I think Yakira’s dad is a Muslim”, the fan wrote.

Toke, surprisingly, responded, saying her baby daddy is not, and her daughter’s name is a Hebrew name, which means “beloved,” “precious,” and “someone of great worth.”

“He is not. Yakira is a Hebrew name. Beloved, precious, and someone of great worth”.
