He said the latest operational breakthroughs reflected the effectiveness of strategic coordination and the unwavering commitment of the military to safeguard Nigeria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“Over the past weeks, we have recorded remarkable successes across various operational theatres. These achievements reflect not only the strength of our strategic coordination but also the bravery of our men and women in uniform,” he stated.

Major General Kangye also cautioned the media to always verify information before publication, especially on issues relating to the welfare of frontline troops, warning that unverified reports could undermine national security and troop morale.
He further dismissed reports credited to the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, alleging the existence of a splinter terrorist group operating in parts of the state. The claim, he said, was “a ruse with no basis in fact.”
“There is no such splinter terrorist group in Nasarawa or anywhere else as alleged. Our troops are fully in control and continue to dominate the operational environment across the region,” he affirmed.
