Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu continued their goalscoring streaks in the Turkish League in their respective clubs’ win on Saturday.
Both strikers have been in red-hot form for their clubs this season scoring important goals in all competitions, with majority coming in the league.
While Osimhen scored the clincher for table-topping Galatasaray in their 3-0 win over ten men Istanbul Basaksehir, Onuachu scored the winner in Trabzonspor’s 1-0 win over Rizespor.

After Wilfried Singo gave Galatasaray the lead on 57 minutes, Osimhen sealed victory nine minutes later when he produced a chest control in the box before rifling his shot into the roof of the net.

Onuachu, on the other hand, become the first Trabzonspor player to score in eight consecutive league matches since 1992. He tapped in from three yards out on 55 minutes to net his 21st league goal of the season, and is just six goals from breaking Osimhen’s record tally last season.
Onuachu has also scored in ten consecutive matches in all competitions this season.
Trabzonspor are joint-second with 57 points from 26 matches, level with Fenerbahce but with lower goals difference, with both sides seven points behind first-placed Galatasaray.
