The incident, which was shared online, drew attention for the huge quantity of food items the fresher came with.

The items included tubers of yam, a bucket of onions, a bag of rice, a gallon of groundnut oil and several other food items.

According to him, the sight was so baffling that he had to record a video as the student carefully arranged the foodstuffs inside his accommodation.

In the short clip, the fresher appeared to have arrived fully prepared for life on campus, determined not to depend on canteen meals or run short of food.
