He stated this during an exclusive chat with Legit.ng while reacting to rumours that Jonathan is considering contesting in the 2027 election.

“GEJ equally failed to tackle corruption, which is the bane of poverty and deprivation in Nigeria. Under his watch, his minister of Petroleum stole so much, almost enough to cover the annual budget of Nigeria.” Okwuosa said the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has the cleanest of records, competence, and is intellectually sound.

“Obi has been a businessman and a banker all his life, but GEJ came from the classroom into politics, and had no understanding of the economy. Obi is more knowledgeable in the area of economy.” According to Okwuosa, the former Anambra state governor is the best and most preferred candidate of all those contesting for the 2027 Presidential election.

“He is so vast in knowledge that he could give you details of how best things are being done in other developed nations and how they could be replicated here to better our country. He is conversant with every sector of the economy. “Obi fought insecurity and kidnappings in Anambra. Under his watch as governor, Anambra people could go to bed and sleep with their two eyes closed. “Obi was frugal in spending; he saved and invested for Anambra. Today, those investments are yielding massively.” Okwuosa says Jonathan failed to tackle corruption, insecurity during his tenure as president.
