While Bala, Makinde and the new National Chairman of the party, Tanimu Turaki are inside Bala’s car, the FCT Minister is also hold up in his car.
Senator Samuel Anyanwu, a prominent member of the pro-Wike faction, had earlier led his people to the Wadata Plaza.
Flanked by supporters, he addressed the press, mocking the other faction which held convention at Ibadan, Oyo State capital, over the weekend.
As he and other leaders in the pro-Wike faction were preparing to hold their meeting, Bala, Makinde and members of the newly inaugurated National Working Committee (NWC) walked in.
The governors forced their way into the NEC Hall where they addressed journalists, saying because of the prevailing situation, they had postponed BoT and NEC meetings till tomorrow.
Turaki vowed that they were ready to protect democracy, insisting that Anyanwu and others were no longer members of the party.
They were about departing when Wike arrived the party headquarters and forced his way into the secretariat which had been taken over by security operatives.
But on sighting his car, Bala Mohammed, Makinde and Turaki chose not to leave the party secretariat.
Security operatives had asked everyone, including journalists, to vacate the premises.
But the governors and Party leaders refused to leave, saying Wike must also be asked to leave.
