ONITSHA – As the Yuletide season gathers momentum and public spaces come alive with celebrations, the Anambra State Police Command has rolled out an aggressive, people-focused security architecture aimed at guaranteeing a peaceful and hitch-free festive period across the state.

From major highways and bustling markets to worship centres, motor parks and popular recreational hubs, police operatives have taken visible control of strategic locations, projecting confidence and reassurance to residents and visitors alike. Adding a critical leadership dimension to the operation, the eight Area Commanders in Onitsha, Ihiala, Oraifite, Awka, Aguata, Otuocha, Ogidi and Nnewi have intensified on-the-spot supervision of personnel and logistics.
