Meghan wedding dress diss by Katy Perry resurfaces after singer missed Archie’s birthday

Katy Perry’s comments about Meghan Markle’s wedding dress have resurfaced after she seemingly skipped Archie’s birthday party in favour of the King’s Coronation.

The Firework songstress, 38, was reportedly invited to Harry and Meghan’s son’s fourth party in Montecito, California, alongside her husband Orlando Bloom.

But the pair clearly had other plans as Orlando attended a ComicCon event in Japan and Katy attended the Coronation of the youngster’s granddad, King Charles III, in London.

Not only did she make an appearance during the King’s big day at Westminster Abbey last Saturday, but she took to the stage the following day for the Coronation Concert.

Performing some of her greatest hits on Sunday, Katy also managed to steal the show by seemingly losing her seat in Westminster Abbey at the King and Queen’s Coronation ceremony.

It was reported over the weekend that Katy and Orlando were amongst the star-studded guestlist for Archie’s fourth birthday.

And since their no-show and Katy’s dazzling performance for His Majesty King Charles III, a clip has resurfaced of Katy discussing Meghan’s Givenchy haute couture wedding dress.

The interview clip, which was filmed during a red carpet show all the way back in May 2018, also shows the moment Katy praises Kate Middleton, The Princess of Wales, and her wedding get-up.

Seeming to throw shade, when a reporter asked what the American Idol judge thought of Meghan’s dress at the time, she said: “I would’ve done one more fitting. Kate won.”
