Queen Virut of Boi Land donates 400 books, uniforms to 19 schools in Bauchi

Queen Markus Virut, the Miss Ayaa of Boi Land, Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi, has donated books, uniforms and other writing materials to 19 government schools in the state.

The distribution of the materials is held at all the school premises, where most of the beneficiaries are orphans and vulnerable children.

Queen Virut also paid school fees of over 103 to selected secondary school students.

The schools distributed the materials include: Government Day Senior Secondary School Boi, Government Day Junior Secondary School Boi, Central Primary School Boi, Primary School Kijim, Primary School Pada, Primary School Jolong, Government Day Junior Secondary School Jolong, Government Day Junior Secondary School Ndukum, Primary School Ndukum, Primary School Sabon Abuja, Primary School Dashem Yalwa.

Other schools are: Junior Secondary School Dashem Yalwa, Primary School Angwan Wadata, Primary School Jangyer, Junior secondary school Jangyer, Primary school Angwan Angale, Primary school Vung, Junior Secondary School Vung and Primary School Dolli.

Virut said that this is not the first time that she is providing written materials to students. Added that she will continue supporting the less privileged children in order to make their studies very easy.

She urged the students to use the uniforms, books and other materials wisely so that they can become good students and also leaders tomorrow.

On his part, the principal of the government Junior Secondary School Boi, Danladi Bitrus thanked Queen Virut Markus for distributing school materials to their students.

The principal promised that the students will take good care of what is given to them and will become the best students in Bogoro, Bauchi and Nigeria at large.

According to him, the efforts will help the vulnerable children to become men and women who will be confident of their place in the society.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Abednego Alhamdu expressed their appreciation to Queen Virut for the gifts.
