NUJ Congratulates NLC On Successful Conduct Of Election, Felicitates With Angese

March 08, (THEWILL) – The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bayelsa State Council, has congratulated the Bayelsa State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), for a successful delegates conference election, which ushered in a new leadership in the state.

A statement by the Council Chairman, Comrade Samuel Numonengi and Secretary, Comrade Ogio Ipigansi, also congratulated the new executive for their victory at the polls.

The statement specifically felicitates with one of its own, Comrade John Angese, for emerging as the state Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

The statement notes that Comrade John Angese, a one time Chairman of the Bayelsa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and presently the Zonal Secretary, South South of the NUJ, emergence as the Secretary of NLC in Bayelsa State is a welcome development and a plus to the NUJ in the state.

The statement expresses confidence that Comrade Angese, who has also served as the South-South Zonal Trustee of the NUJ, will bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new capacity as Secretary of the NLC in the state.

The statement wishes Comrade Angese a fruitful tenure and prayed the Almighty God to grant him wisdom, guidance and protection, as he discharges his responsibilities creditably.
