The survivors of yesterday morning tragic accident that occurred along Enugu to Onitsha express way, beside CBN quarters bus, stop, Enugu, are now receiving adequate medicare at Enugu state university Teaching Hospital(ESUTH).Park lane Enugu.
The special attention is courtesy of the Enugu state PDP governorship candidate, Dr Peter Mbah.
Dr Peter Mbah compassionately sympathised with the victims when he rushed to Dinoc Specialist hospital, Trans Ekulu, Enugu, where the victims where initially admitted.
As he observed that many of them had severe injuries that deserved intensive medicare, he instructed that they should be transfered to ESUTH Park lane, Enugu.
He offered to cater for all the expenses including their hospital bills.
It was gathered the accident occurred when a commercial bus with passengers had a head on collision with a trailer coming from the opposite direction.
An eyewitness said the commercial bus was trying to overtake a lorry emitting dark fumes from it’s exhaust pipe, which blinded the commercial bus driver from noticing the trailer early enough,
It was observed all vehicles within that axis of Enugu to Onitsha express road shares one lane of the road due to dilapidation that made the second lane of the express road impassable within that axis.
