The Gombe State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 15-year-old girl, identified as Aisha, in the Kwami community after she went missing while on an errand.
The confirmation followed a viral video showing the girl’s body, which was discovered in a hole near Wakili and Tuguji villages in the Kwami Local Government Area.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, said Aisha had been sent to buy soybeans on Monday evening but failed to return home.
