March 08, (THEWILL) — Daniel Farke’s Leeds United are through to the FA Cup quarter-finals after a 3-0 victory over Norwich City at Elland Road on Sunday, a result that offered welcome relief following five matches without a win in regulation time.
The tie’s decisive moment arrived in the 32nd minute, when Sean Longstaff converted neatly to give the hosts an early lead. Leeds had required a penalty shootout to see off Birmingham City in the fourth round, yet there was no such difficulty on this occasion.
