I Can Remarry As Many Times As I Want – Laide Bakare

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has shared her thoughts on marriage, saying she is open to getting married again if her current or future relationship does not work out.

Naija News reports that she spoke during a chat with Ayo Adesanya on the Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, where she explained her personal beliefs about relationships and life after marriage.

Bakare said that even though her religious background does not support women marrying many times, she would not remain in a union that is not working for her.

According to her, once she notices that things are not going well and cannot be fixed, she would rather leave and move on with her life instead of forcing the marriage.

The mother of one also made it clear that being single does not scare her, as she does not see herself as someone who would feel lonely outside marriage.

She said: “My religion doesn’t allow women marrying multiple times, but if I am not getting it right, I am not getting it right! I can marry as many times as possible. There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyways. Lonely? I can never feel lonely. I don’t feel lonely.”
