Katie Holmes caught liking comments suggesting she and ex Joshua Jackson ‘should be a couple’

Katie Holmes gave a thumbs-up to comments suggesting she and Joshua Jackson should be a couple.

Holmes recently shared an Instagram upload of herself and Jackson in their new movie, “Happy Hours,” in which she embraces her “Dawson’s Creek” co-star.

“We are so thrilled to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival this June with our film Happy Hours. So many beautiful people worked on this project. And working with Josh again was a dream,” she captioned the photo on April 16 — before “liking” a comment from a fan “wish[ing] this was a hard launch” and another suggesting they “should be a couple.”

A deluge of other comments concluded the same, with one gushing, “This is the marriage that should have happened in real life 😍🥰😍” and another chiming in, “Please get married in real life and heal our millenial hearts💖”

Fans weren’t the only ones gushing over the onscreen pairing — Kimberly Van Der Beek, whose husband James Van Der Beek died in February after a battle with colon cancer, wrote “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love this.”

Rebecca Gayheart added, “Seeing you two together in this photo makes me happy ❤️”

Reps for Holmes and Jackson did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Tuesday.

Holmes and Jackson, both 47, starred in the beloved WB series from 1998 to 2003 as onscreen couple Pacey Witter and Joey Potter.

The former couple — who posed for photographers during a red carpet reunion in New York City last week — dated from 1998 to 1999 while filming the beloved series.
