“Congratulations, my friend Kalonzo Musyoka, on taking the bold step of documenting your 40 years in public life. Shooting a Documentary is quite something,” Itumbi quipped. “Filming Four Decades of stuff that you do not have and that does not stand out is quite a hard job. I look forward to watching the painstaking effort starring a man who, like Methuselah in the bible, has been there, but with little to show, except being there.” Search option is now available at TUKO! Itumbi went on to detail Kalonzo’s tenure in different seats in government, including as Minister for Education, asserting that there was nothing of note in all those ministries.

As for when he served as vice president under President Mwai Kibaki, Itumbi claimed that the only achievement he made was delivering two large prisons in the Ukambani region.

“As Vice President, however, I know one achievement that will certainly make the cut: you helped deliver two very large prisons in Ukambani,” Itumbi snarked. According to Itumbi, this alleged documentary would premiere in September, which he claimed aligned with the time when he would unveil his 2027 Presidential bid.

He also claimed that Kalonzo would name Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as his running mate, snarkily asking if other United Alternative Government members knew of his plans.

“Now, my sources tell me the documentary will premiere in September, conveniently around the same time you unveil your presidential run and running mate. Congratulations! I hope you have already informed Jofri and Matiang’i that Sifuna is your preferred choice for running mate,” Itumbi claimed. He also brought up former President Uhuru Kenyatta, urging Kalonzo to let him know of his plans to launch a new movement, leaving Azimio behind.

This movement, Itumbi said, would reportedly be known as the Ukombozi Alliance.

“BTW, you do not have to keep repeating Ukombozi, Komboa so many times in interviews and rallies, you can launch without singing it too much, but anyway, strategy ni yako, just saying,” Itumbi said. He ended his rant by hitting back at former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, boasting that he, just like the former DP, had sources everywhere and knew information that he did not know.

He admitted that the statement was in response to Gachagua, with whom he has been embroiled in a political feud since Gachagua questioned his involvement with high-profile government mandates.

It all began when a leaked clip from negotiations seeking to end the matatu strike showed Itumbi as one of the government officials present, even though the current deputy president, Kithure Kindiki, was not.

Gachagua even claimed that Itumbi was running the country when President William Ruto was out of the country.
