DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — God’s Shelter Of Love is a critical lifeline for women and children in need of emergency housing. However, as of Tuesday, the shelter’s resources are stretched beyond capacity, accommodating 31 individuals instead of its usual 24.
With the summer heat intensifying, cooling centers have been established across Central Illinois to offer residents respite from the soaring temperatures.
