Authorities reported that two men were fatally shot in front of a building near a Bronx subway station on Thursday evening.
Police arrived at the scene on the corner of Westchester Avenue and Harrod Avenue around 10:10 p.m. to find a 43-year-old man and a 53-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were swiftly transported to Jacobi Hospital, where they were declared deceased, according to law enforcement.

Investigators have yet to determine if the victims were specifically targeted in the attack.
